A balcony whose coating had let go at the cracks, taken up and relaid so the wall below stayed dry.
Paint was blistering off the living room wall beside the balcony door, which the owner had repainted twice. The wall was not the problem; the balcony was.
The old coating had cracked along the slab and at the upstand, and water was getting under it and running back into the structure rather than out to the outlet.
We took the coating up, cut out and filled the cracks, laid a new membrane carried up the parapet and under the door threshold, and re-screeded to a fall towards the drain.
The internal wall was left to dry out before it was made good and repainted, because painting a damp wall is how you get the same call again in three months.

A wardrobe run built in a room too tight to lay the frames flat, anchored properly and the packaging taken away.
A tired mortice lock swapped for a digital one, with the door edge made good so the new plate sat flat.
