Most of what comes in is a repair rather than a replacement. A door that drags on the floor is normally a hinge that has dropped, not a door that has warped. A lock that needs the handle lifted twice is usually a misaligned strike plate, not a failed lock. Both are an hour's work; both get quoted as a new door if nobody looks properly.
