Condo Roof Waterproofing in Bukit Timah
A flat roof that held water after every storm, taken back to the slab and relaid so it drains.
Water was reaching the top-floor units after heavy rain, and the roof had been patched twice already. Patching is what you do when nobody has worked out where the water is sitting.
It was ponding. The falls ran towards the middle of the slab rather than towards the outlets, so every storm left standing water over the weakest part of the old membrane until it found a way through.
We stripped the old system, screeded the falls back towards the outlets, and laid a new membrane carried up the upstands and dressed into the drains rather than stopped short of them — which is where most roofs actually fail.
Flood tested for 24 hours before the finishes went back on.
