An overloaded board on a single earth leakage unit, replaced and split so one fault no longer takes the whole flat dark.
The flat tripped completely whenever the kitchen and the water heater ran together, and everything sat behind one earth leakage unit — so every trip took the lights out with it.
We replaced the board, split the load across separate circuits with their own protection, and gave the kitchen and heater their own ways. Existing wiring was checked as we went; two junctions that had been made off outside an enclosure were remade properly.
Every circuit was tested and the results recorded, and the schedule was left inside the board cover where the next person will find it.

A wardrobe run built in a room too tight to lay the frames flat, anchored properly and the packaging taken away.
A tired mortice lock swapped for a digital one, with the door edge made good so the new plate sat flat.
