An intermittent trip that had closed the unit twice, traced to a soaked exterior fitting and repaired the same night.

The tenant had lost power twice in a week, both times in the evening and both times back on after resetting — the pattern that makes an intermittent fault expensive to guess at and cheap to measure.
We attended the same night, isolated circuit by circuit and found earth leakage rising on the rear lighting way whenever it rained. The cause was an exterior fitting whose gland had perished and filled with water.
The fitting was replaced, the run was re-terminated and re-tested, and the readings were recorded. The unit opened as normal the next morning.

A wardrobe run built in a room too tight to lay the frames flat, anchored properly and the packaging taken away.
A tired mortice lock swapped for a digital one, with the door edge made good so the new plate sat flat.
