Exterior Repaint of a Landed Home in Serangoon

Failed exterior paint taken back to sound substrate, sealed and recoated so the next repaint is years away, not months.

The exterior had been recoated over failing paint at some point, which is why it was flaking again in sheets on the west elevation.

Every face was washed down and scraped back to sound material, hairline cracks were raked out and filled, and the substrate was sealed before any finish coat went on. Two weather-resistant coats followed.

Work moved elevation by elevation around the weather, and the garden and driveway were sheeted and cleared each day — an exterior job that leaves chips through a lawn is not finished.
