A mall unit handed back as bare shell between two tenancies, run inside the centre's overnight works window.
The outgoing tenant had eight nights before the incoming fit-out started, and the centre only allowed noisy works after closing. Everything was planned around that window rather than around a working day.
The glazed shopfront and roller shutter came out first, then the fitted display walls, cash wrap and back-of-house shelving. Vinyl flooring and adhesive were lifted back to screed, the tenant lighting track and its containment were removed, and the ceiling was returned to the base-build grid. Walls were skimmed where fixings had been chased in and repainted to the landlord's specified white.
The unit was handed over as bare shell on the ninth morning, and the incoming contractor started on schedule.

A wardrobe run built in a room too tight to lay the frames flat, anchored properly and the packaging taken away.
A tired mortice lock swapped for a digital one, with the door edge made good so the new plate sat flat.
